I’ve completed my engineering form Aurangabad. Never had interest in coding and development, so I switched my field to Marketing. What a better place to try your hands on Marketing than Mumbai.
So with all high hopes I moved to Mumbai. The process was quite simple of moving in, I found a requirement for a flatmate on a portal on Facebook and I had a talk with the girls already living there. Right at the start of the conversation I felt I should move-in with these people. And there I was with only my clothes (everything else they had provided me) staying with them. That was the best time, a new home away from home. But unfortunately, that didn’t last for long.

I had to shift to Pune after months because I wanted to pursue Digital Marketing course . My house hunt started again, but this time it was way different and painful. We’ve been hearing about how difficult it is to stay in Mumbai, I think whosoever said that didn’t stay in Pune. So, I again reached out to Facebook for help to find me a house, got connected to this girl, started talking, decided to move-in on 1st July. I had the same feeling for these people as I had before moving to Mumbai. On 28th June, I tried calling this girl to transfer the money.. Hundred of calls till the night, no answer.. Finally, received a text saying that the place was taken. I had lost it at that point, and felt helpless. Gathered all my chill and anyway moved to Pune and decided to personally go and finalize a place. I stayed at my aunt’s place for some days. Came across the most pathetic place and super non-pocket friendly places. Finally, I found a place with some not so like-minded people. It has been around 3 weeks I’m staying at this place and have almost seen everything that Pune can offer. My friends are not allowed in the house. If they come, the girls start bashing the doors. Everyone having a separate toilet mug, spoon, fork and what not.
This is all about my experience in Pune and Pune people so far.
Can’t wait to go back to Mumbai.
