When nature holds you back

Recently, I had gone to a small hill station to take a break from my busy life. Sadly, it was just a one day trip because of my budget and time constraints.

I’m not a frequent traveler but I absolutely love living close to nature and enjoying a simple life.

Today, I’m back to the same routine but the memories of the trip don’t seem to fade away anytime soon. I literally feel all the places that I visit, try to call me back.

I feel like none of this makes sense- the corporate life, wear a mask and change it according to the person you talk to, stay in such a chaotic city, not have your loved ones around you, eat so adulterated food and the list goes on.

I started working because I wanted to learn more about struggles of life, the value of money, people’s intentions and improve my skills. But trust me, corporate has its own plans for you. It is like a cyclone you can’t get out of.

The most important thing that comes in between the dilemma of choosing a simple & a fancy life is ‘the sacrifice.’ To live one kind of life you’ve to give up on the other. I feel this is the toughest part, to decide what can’t you live without.

I feel the day you’ll make this decision without letting the ‘what will people say’ factor affecting it, you’ll find your true self and evolve. Because that is what you’re on the earth for, it is only the wisdom and enlightenment that will go with you. Everything else will stay behind.

Like everyone else, I’m still figuring out about my final decision and what to sacrifice. But unlike everyone, I’m undoubtedly very close to my decision. 🙂

  1. Nice article Khushboo.
Life more often teaches us how to perfect our weaknesses than how to develop our strengths.
So it doesn’t matter what decisions you have made , because you can fix your wrong decisions but not making any decision is a big mistake.
