How To Make Simple Curd Sandwich

Curd is believed to be stomach’s best friend. It’s cooling properties keep the intestines healthy and the probiotics aid in digestion.

Curd sandwich is one of the simplest sandwiches you can make for breakfast or evening snack.

All you need is thick fresh curd and vegetables. You can also use Greek yogurt if it’s readily available.

Ingredients-

  • 4 slices of bread
  • ½ cup thick curd or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup grated onions
  • ½ cup grated carrots
  • ½ cup bell peppers
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions-

  1. In a large bowl, take fresh curd and whisk it until smooth.
  2. Add all the vegetables and mix it once again.
  3. Season this mixture with salt, black pepper and red chili flakes.
  4. Stuff this mixture between two slices of bread.
  5. On a non-stick pan, put ½ tablespoon of ghee and toast the sandwich till it turns brown. 
  6. Halve the sandwich.
  7. Repeat the same procedure with the next two slices of bread.
  8. Eat it immediately or within a span of two hours.
