April 2020: that’s when I discovered what my passion was. I remember it because I had heard somewhere that when you figure out what you’re passionate about that day is your second birthday!
So at that time, I was searching for my dinner movie on Disney. I came across a movie named ‘The Piper.’ It had a picture of a baby bird and was just a 2-minute movie. Thinking ‘why not?’ to myself I hit the play button. And, trust me, when the movie ended I knew that my passion was making movies like these.
That movie had the power to change my perspective in just 2 minutes. Somewhere I just knew that I could do the same. I even imagined how I’d write “Written by Khushboo Mehta” at the end of my movie.
Since that day, I’ve written numerous short stories. And, yeah, that’s my passion: writing short stories that help change people find the Magic and Light that’s already within themselves.
Why is this my passion? Because I firmly believe that seeing the world is filled with the most amazing people but stress and fear is overshadowing their Magic. Through my stories, people will find their inner magic and light.
My passion is a gentle reminder for people to have an eye for the small things around them.
