Suicides in India

My heart goes out to the guy and his family who tried to attempt suicide from MIT college A’bad. It’s so saddening because at the end of the day we all are responsible for this. Responsible to stay mum, accept everything and not care because he wasn’t our acquaintance. Talking about the stats, the Indian education system is the same from the day it was established. Our country spends only 0.6% on mental health which ideally should be 4% hence making it the country with highest suicide rate. It’s so shocking that every hour a student attempts suicide in India. … Continue reading Suicides in India

The miserable life of a “Fresher”

‘Thy is the beginning of anything you want.’ A fresh morning, fresh fruit, fresh start, even the air to breath-in is wished to be fresh. But things turn over not only around the table but over the room when it comes to hiring a ‘fresher.’ It really makes me wonder why the perspective of almost all the corporate companies change when it comes to working with a fresher. When a superb friendship doesn’t last

There are a set of people who’re extremely selfish and share a convenient friendship with you. They’re like Brachiosaurus (dinosaurs that feed on plants) when they need you, and go through a 360 degree transition into a T-rex when their need is fulfilled. I’ve always fallen prey to these T-rex’s. I don’t know how but I’ve lost some very precious people in my Life. I seriously hope that time heals everything and I get them back. I’ve always been pathetic at realizing the intentions and love of people around me. I’m missing this one particular person for a few days now. … Continue reading When a superb friendship doesn’t last

Things you face when emotions rule your life

Being an emotional person comes with a lot of pros and cons. Even if pros are quite less eventually we’ve to live with it. Emotional people can actually put themselves in other’s shoes and feel what they’re going through and what they might have felt in a particular situation. So they’re always surrounded with people who claim to relate to them and feel comfortable sharing their problems with them. Feels good for that moment and it’s a good thing too. As mentioned, cons are very high. They get so involved in their loved ones that it becomes so difficult to … Continue reading Things you face when emotions rule your life

My Pune Experience

I’ve completed my engineering form Aurangabad. Never had interest in coding and development, so I switched my field to Marketing. What a better place to try your hands on Marketing than Mumbai. So with all high hopes I moved to Mumbai. The process was quite simple of moving in, I found a  requirement for a flatmate on a portal on Facebook and I had a talk with the girls already living there. Right at the start of the conversation I felt I should move-in with these people. And there I was with only my clothes (everything else they had provided … Continue reading My Pune Experience
