The miserable life of a “Fresher”

‘Thy is the beginning of anything you want.’ A fresh morning, fresh fruit, fresh start, even the air to breath-in is wished to be fresh. But things turn over not only around the table but over the room when it comes to hiring a ‘fresher.’ It really makes me wonder why the perspective of almost all the corporate companies change when it comes to working with a fresher.

A normal human being can be productive to an organization only after a span of ‘2 years.’ So how would it make a difference in hiring a fresher and actually helping her/him gain experience as well utilize his skills in growth of the company.

I do agree to the fact that experience adds on a lot to a person’s talent and ability to work smartly. If freshers are given equal opportunities and guidance rather than just being ignored because of having “0 years” of experience written in their resume it would be an evolutionary change in the corporate world. I’m well versed with the pain and efforts that go in training a fresher. But we always opt for ‘puppies’ when it comes to getting a pet rather than a fully grown and mature dog. As a puppy can easily get acquainted and learn really fast.

At the end of the day, it’s all the fresh things that are utilized by the body for energy generation and to kick-start your day with. So try your chances with a fresher because I’m sure you won’t regret. 🙂
